The “Invest in China Year” promotion conference of national-level economic and technological development zones & the 10th dialogue between development-zones and Fortune 500 companies was held on June 27 in Nanjing. Chen Chunjiang, member of the CPC leadership group and Assistant Minister of Commerce, and Fang Wei, vice governor of Jiangsu province addressed the event. The conference, part of a series of events under the Invest in China Year Initiative, is co-hosted by MOFCOM and Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government. Participants include representatives from international organizations, chambers of commerce from abroad, national-level zones for economic and technological development, Fortune 500 companies, and foreign-invested enterprises. Three industrial projects match-making meetings were held in the field of the digital economy, green and low-carbon transformation, and new energy vehicles, offering opportunities for communication and exchanges between foreign-invested enterprises and national-level economic and technological development zones to reinforce investment cooperation and foster synergy for development.
